We all want to help provide a memorable experience for Trick-or-Treaters without breaking the bank.
One trick to saving money on Halloween candy is to buy it early. As Halloween approaches, stores often hike up their prices, until after Halloween. I have also found you find the best candy bargains at retail chains or drugstores, rather then at grocery stores and when selecting your candy, you will find the best bargains in the multiple assortments types, rather then buying the name brands, such as chocolates.
A great inexpensive solution is to mix and match cheaper assorted candies, such as lollipops, tootsie rolls, dum dums, and gum. Kids will love the variety and you will love the money you save!
In addition, you can also substitute toys for candy. You can find great deals at the dollar store on such novelties as spider rings, lollipop rings, stickers, and other small toys. Most come in packages of 50 to 100 and only cost a dollar.
